PAGASA LPA to be 15th Typhoon OFEL in 24 Hrs - Forecast Track

PAGASA 15th Typhoon OFEL Forecast Track

PAGASA sighted a Low Pressure Area (LPA), now a typhoon at 440 km West of Iba, Zambales as of 10 am October 26, 2012.

Previous forecast models shows that it will develop into a Typhoon in 24-48 hours and it will be called OFEL, the 15th typhoon to entered Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) for 2012.

Movement: West Northwest at 22 kph
Rain Volume: 5-20mm/hr (moderate-intense) within 400 km.
Distance from Land: 440 km West of Iba, Zambales
