Latest StarMobile ENGAGE 7HD with 1280x800 High Definition display, dual camera with 8MP rear and running on dual core processor and Android Ice Cream Sandwich.

ENGAGE and ENGAGE 9

Full specs of ENGAGE and ENGAGE 9 are almost the same. 9 is upgraded ENGAGE with larger display, internal memory and battery capacity for longer multimedia experience.

Both are powered by AllWinner A10 processor which is a low price, high performance and consumes less power. It is being developed and sold in China with mas-volume price of $7 or ~P300.

So, which one do you want? I like ENGAGE because it's affordable with higher pixel per inch than successor ENGAGE 9.

ENGAGE 7HD will be coming this December (already on the market) and will cost less than P10,000. I estimate that it will not go higher than 9K.

The cheapest netbook in the market is around P10K (Neo BC2BL) running on Intel Atom N2100 1.6 Ghz with 320 GB HDD so, more expensive tablets will have a hard time competing against this cheaper netbooks.
