Cherry Mobile OMEGA HD vs FLAME 2 Price and Specs Comparison

Cherry Mobile first Quad-Core powered Android Phone - FLAME 2, the successor of  FLAME.  

The released of Cherry Mobile OMEGA HD and FLAME 2 are already anticipated weeks before it was unveiled recently on Cherry Mobile Facebook Fan page. The two Android phones are upgraded version of CM OMEGA and FLAME respectively.

At first glance, OMEGA HD's Dragon trail Glass and BSI Sensor caught my attention and FLAME 2 quad-core processor in 1 GB RAM is very promising. I thought OMEGA HD will be the first to run on MediaTek quad-core processor.

So, the question remains, which local mobile brand will be the first one to tapped the power of MT6589 quad-core processor? Is it MyPhone or StarMobile?

The difference of  OMEGA to OMEGA HD are (1) 5.2" to 5.0" HD Display (2) 512 MB to 1 GB RAM (3) 8MP/VGA to 12MP/2MP camera (4) price from P6,699 to P7,999, an increased of P1,300.

Similarly, FLAME 2 is upgraded FLAME with changes from (1) dual-core to quad-core processor (2) 512 MB to 1 GB RAM (3) Android ICS to Jelly Bean - JB (4) lastly the price from P6,299 to P6,999, an increased of P700.

Price: Cherry Mobile OMEGA HD cost your pocket at P7,999 while FLAME 2 at P6,999. A price difference of P1,000.

Features: Both are Dual SIM and Dual Camera. OMEGA HD features a Dragon Trail Glass Technology Display for scratch protection.
