MyPhone A919 DUO gets a pump up on specs with latest released of A919i DUO and what to expect for this latest MyPhone's flagship Android phone?

Before we go to the specs, MediaTek announced the launch of World's first MT6589 Quad-Core Cortex-A7 SoC (System on a Chip) last December 2012.

It is available for mid to high end Android smartphones and Tablets worldwide and the good news, its now in the Philippines and it will power up MyPhone A919i DUO - the first in the country for local mobile brand.

For the record, Cherry Mobile released its first Quad-Core Snapdragon Android phone FLAME 2.0 (P6,999) last March 2013. The competition for "Battle of Quad-Core Affordable Android Phones" are starting to heat up.

MyPhone A919i DUO is an upgrade of A919 DUO dual-core to quad-core processor, from Android ICS to Jelly Bean Operating System, from 512 MB RAM to 1 GB RAM.

Overall, its an upgrade from hardware to software with HD display for more razor sharp visuals and it will cost you an added P1,600 only - that’s really a steal.

Although A919i DUO do not use the full potential of MT6589 SoC, MyPhone can still improved and released another Quad-Core Android phone in FULL HD Display with Dragon Trail Glass technology, sports a 12MP/2MP BSI dual camera and 2500 mAh battery at affordable price (lets call it A919g DUO, just a suggestion).

Furthermore, A919i DUO 2 Day sale will make it at the same price point with A919 DUO, a must buy for those who want to experience the power of latest MediaTek MT6589 performance.
