StarMobile ICON, JUMP, KNIGHT Price, Features and Specs

Latest from StarMobile fleet of Android phones reaching to the stars are quad-core powered ICON, KNIGHT and dual-core JUMP - left to right. Will they capture the heart of Filipinos?

StarMobile Alphabets of naming Android phones are now on latest ICON, JUMP and KNIGHT after the dual-core powered GOAL (P5,990) and single core HIT (P3,590) droids installment last April 2013.

The latest 3 Android phones are still not officially announced on StarMobile Facebook and their website but I watched it on Unbox Video Podcast so we will have the first glance view on specs. ( Updates: It's now official, 5 Android phones are going to be released including StarMobile DIAMOND V3 and V7 phablet both running on quad-core processor)

I'm impressed with StarMobile KNIGHT - it's really a knight in a shining armor, with screen pixel per inch (ppi) close to retina display covered with Corning Gorilla glass for scratch protection.

KNIGHT sports an 18MP rear and 8MP front camera both with BSI and autofocus - one of a kind dual camera combo specs offered by a local mobile brand to Filipinos (usually 8MP/2MP or 12MP/2MP are around in the market).

To give you a summary of the 3 Android phones, the cheapest dual-core powered Android is StarMobile JUMP, I think it is a redesigned GOAL or BRIGHT made for affordability and for entry level Android users.

Second, the first quad-core powered droid is StarMobile ICON with inspiration from FLIRT, it sports a dual camera with both autofocus (8MP/5MP) on qHD (quarter High Definition) display with Dragontrail Glass scratch resistant protection.

Lastly, StarMobile KNIGHT is a flagship droid with impressive display resolution (312 ppi), camera (18MP/8MP) and pack with features (power efficient processor, coolest quad-core Soc in the world, BSI sensor and Gorilla glass screen protection) - what can you ask for?

What is your pick?
