PAGASA Typhoon FABIAN 3 Days Forecast Track -  Will it make a Landfall?

PAGASA sighted "FABIAN" at 340 km West of  Laoag, Ilocos Norte (already out of PAR) as of 4am June 21, 2013 - the 6th typhoon to enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) for 2013.

TD FABIAN was previously an LPA on West of Batangas and developed into a Tropical Depression (PAGASA Technical Term).

(1) 500 km West of Calayan, Cagayan


Strength: max of 55 kph near center

Movement: North Northwest at 11 kph

Rainfall Volume: 5-15 mm/hr (moderate to heavy) within 300 km

Distance to Land: 340 km West of  Laoag, Ilocos Norte (outside PAR)


Tropical Depression "FABIAN" will enhance Southwest Monsoon which will bring moderate to occasionally heavy rains and thunderstorms over the Western section of Luzon particularly Palawan.
