A lot of my readers are asking me how to set an MP3 songs or MP3 file as message alert tone and ringtone on MyPhone Android phone - specifically the A848i DUO model.
I hope this set up, tutorial or procedure works well with other MyPhone Android phone models like A818i, A818g, A848, A878, A888, A898, A919, A919i and A919 3D DUO.
How about on Cherry Mobile, Torque, Cloudfone, DTC, SKK, Arc Mobile and StarMobile Android phones? Please don't hesitate to share it with us if it also works at the same way with these local brand smartphones.
How to SET MP3 Songs as Message Alert Tone and Ringtone using MyPhone A848i DUO Android Phone
1. Copy the MP3 you want to set as message alert tone. Just press the file for at least 2 seconds until the copy-paste options pop up on your screen.
2. Go to File Manager>Phone Storage>Media>Audio>Notification
3. In Notification, short press the pencil icon below your screen and press "more" option at the rightmost part until copy-paste pop up on the screen.
4. Paste the MP3 song or file.
5. Go to System Settings>Audio profiles>General>Notifications>Look for the MP3 song you pasted and set it as default notification.

How to SET MP3 Songs as Ringtone (Phone and Video Call)
1. Same as message alert tone, copy the MP3 song and Go to File manager>Phone Storage>Ringtones>Paste the MP3 file
2. Go to System Settings>Audio profiles>General>Voice Call ringtones>look for the MP3 song you pasted and set it as phone ringtone.
3. For video call, go to System Settings>Audio profiles>General>Video Call Ringtones>look for the MP3 song you pasted and set it as video call ringtone.
