PAGASA LPA has developed into a typhoon and sighted at 620 km East Northeast of Itbayat, Batanes as of 10 am October 5, 2013.

Tropical Storm "TS QUEDAN" is previously a Low Pressure Area (LPA) and the 17th typhoon to enter Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) for 2013.
