PAGASA sighted the first typhoon to enter Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) at 215 km Southeast of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur as of 4 pm January 19, 2014.
Tropical Depression "AGATON" is expected to bring moderate to occasionally heavy rains and thunderstorms over Northern Mindanao and the rest of CARAGA Region. Sea travel is risky over the seaboards of Luzon, Visayas and CARAGA region.
