PAGASA sighted the 6th typhoon to enter PAR (Philippine Area of Responsibility) at 880 km East of Aparri, Cagayan as of 4 pm, July 6, 2014.
Typhoon "FLORITA" has further intensified as it continues to move in a west northwest direction. Western Visayas, MIMAROPA and provinces of Zambales, Bataan, Cavite, Laguna and Batangas will have monsoon rains.
Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon and of Visayas will experience occasional rains. Mindanao will be partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms. Moderate to strong winds blowing from the southwest to west will prevail
