The "Battle of Octa-Core" affordable Android smartphones continues with latest Cloudfone Excite 501o setting a new record as the "cheapest octa-core Android phone" to date (based on my list) beating SKK Mobile PHOENIX X1.

Both Excite 501o and PHOENIX X1 are competing with other affordable octa-core gadgets such as  ZH&K VENUS/ZEUS, Torque Droidz OCTAVE/MARVEL HD, Cherry Mobile PULSE/INFINIX Pure XL/COSMOS ONE/EXCALIBUR and MyPhone INFINITY Lite in the market to date.
