Given the stakes, it would be logical.
If the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge seem to be very good at the mobile features, it is clear that Samsung would not have been able to cope with competition from Apple if it had not incorporated a way mobile payment in its new high-end.
Remember, mobile payment technology which feature the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge is based on that of a US startup called Pay Loop which was acquired by Samsung. However, the price of the acquisition has not been disclosed.
But according to our colleagues at Re / Code cites several sources, the redemption Loop Pay and especially its technology (which could be best Pay Apple) would have cost at least $ 250 million to South Korea.
Loop Pay (and thus Samsung Pay) does not really work in the same way that Apple or Google Wallet Pay, which are based on NFC. Instead, it simulates the action to insert their card into a payment terminal. This means Loop Pay is not dependent on NFC and could possibly be compatible with advantage of outlets.
But for now, Samsung Pay is not yet functional, although the technology is already available prior to the S6 and S6 Edge.
