All the leaked specs and rumours for Samsung's Galaxy A7 smartphone, a slender and stylish beast packing some premium innards and features for a hopefully-not-obscene price...
Samsung has already launched its Galaxy A3 and A5 phones, two mid-range mobiles with style in mind thanks to their slender metallic frames, and now it looks like they'll be joined by a bigger brother, the Galaxy A7. But the A7 is apparently packing some top-end specs, which could make it a phone of flagship quality...
What is the Samsung Galaxy A7 and what specs does it have?
According to leaks, the Galaxy A7 is a 5.5-inch smartphone packing a Full HD 1080p display. While the Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A5 had quite mid-range specs, the Galaxy A7 packs the same Exynos 5433 chipset found in the Galaxy Note 4, backed by 2GB of RAM. There'll be full 4G support, a 13-megapixel camera and a 5-megapixel front-facer, giving the A7 the kind of specs you'd expect from a flagship phone.
Android KitKat is apparently the OS of choice, presumably while Samsung gets Lollipop all TouchWiz'd up. There's 16GB of storage space and a 2,600mAh battery rounding off the Galaxy A7's specs.
When will the Samsung Galaxy A7 be released in the UK?
We're expecting to see Samsung unveil the Galaxy A7 at CES 2015, which kicks off on January 5th in Las Vegas. We'll be there, fishbowl margarita in one hand and camera in the other, to get full video if it does indeed emerge.
As for a UK price and release date, expect to see the A7 hit stores in February, before the Galaxy S6 is launched in March.
