Before u play with ur device to update ur android or flash any rom i'm highly suggest that u make an emei backup first incase something goes wrong. Then u can easily restore the imei from ur backup. This is the most simple step u can use to backup and restore ur imei...
What effect if u lose ur imei or get invalid imei??

Note:
To identify this problem try dial *#06#. If u got invalid imei u need to restore ur imei from ur backup.

Backup Tutorial
Open mobile uncle tool
Grant root permission
Go to IMEI Backup Restore (MTK)
Choose Backup IMEI to SDCARD(MTK)
and Choose Backup IMEI to SDCARD2(MTK)
That it.. u have make an EMEI Backup
Restore Tutorial
Open mobile uncle tool
Grant root permission
Go to IMEI Backup Restore (MTK)
Choose Restore IMEI from SDCARD(MTK) or Restore IMEI from SDCARD2(MTK)
and then it will ask to reboot ur devices
reboot and now ur IMEI has been restored.
