For Hard Reset Make sure your call phone battery is not empty. if your device battery is low please don't try hard reset. if your call phone is turn off after finish hard reset device will be dead so first recharge your call phone battery.
after hard reset all data will be lost so don't forget backup your all of impotent data.
1. First Pressing Power Key to turn off your smart phone remove battery and reinsert after 5 second.
2. than press and hold together Volume Up + Home + Power key Until Show Samsung Logo On Screen.
3. When Show android recovery menu on screen select this "wipe data / factory reset" use volume key to scroll and power key to confirm.
4. Now Select this option "Yes -- delete all user data" confirm this whole process pressing power key.
5. after finish this process select this "reboot system now" again pressing power key and wait few second device will be automatic restart.
