[Android SIM Unlock] How to SIM Unlock Samsung Galaxy Phone

There is no doubt that mobile phone plays a important role in our world. A SIM lock is a function built into many mobile telephones that allows phone service providers to lock a phone so it can only be used under certain circumstances. These circumstances are typically involved with retaining phone service, such as only allowing the phone to work in certain countries or on networks provided by a specific company. This locking function is connected to the Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) provided with the phone and ensures that the phone can only be used in a way the service provider wishes.

In general, SIM lock is a powerful tool, it's very important to your mobile phone. But if you forget your SIM Lock, what do you do? I bought a Samsung Galaxy S7 last month, and I set up a SIM lock when the first time I used SIM card. There is undeniably that SIM lock can help me protect the privacy and confidential of information, However, it's really vexing that if you forget your SIM lock. Unfortunately, I forget my SIM lock because I set up it a year ago. But I want to change a Samsung Galaxy phone in this year, so I want to unlock my SIM lock.

Tom is my partner and he had tried unlocking SIM lock. Therefore, I ask him for help. I want to find a method that can unlock my lock simply and rapidly. So he recommended Android SIM Unlock to me. Android SIM Unlock is a famous software that it has a lot of functins. For example, it can unlock SIM lock, root your Andriod phone, recover Android data and removal your lock screen, etc.. I actually tried it out yesterday and I found that it really could help us finish a lot of work such as unlock my SIM lock. Therefore, I decide to write this article to help someone who need unlock their SIM lock.


     




Steps to SIM Unlock Samsung Galaxy Phone


Step 1. Connect your Samsung Galaxy phone


First of all, install dr.fone toolkit for Android. Then, you can tun it and select "SIM Unlock" among all the toolkits. Next, Connect your Samsung Galaxy Phone to the computer by using a USB cable.


Note: Please make sure you have enabled USB debugging mode on your phone. If your Android os version is above 4.2.2, there will be a pop up message on your phone. Tap on Yes to allow USB debugging on your device.



Step 2. SIM unlock your Samsung Galaxy phone


For Samsung Galaxy S2~S4 and Samsung Galaxy Note 1~Note 3:

Please dial *#0808# or ##3424# or #9090# on your Android phone. One of the 3 will work on your model and you will enter USB Settings / Diagnostic / Service Mode.


Once you are in Service Mode you select the DM + MODEM + ADB or UART[*] or CDMA MODEM option, and then hit "Unlock".

After that, the program will start to SIM unlock your Samsung phone. You just only wait a minutes.


When your phone is unlocked successfully, you have to set the phone back into normal mode, you need take your phone out of "Service" mode if your phone is unlocked successfully, you need key in *#0808# or ##3424# or #9090# on your Android phone keypad again and now select MTP + ADB or USB[*] or PDA in the menu.

Then you can click on "Next", your will find your phone enter normal mode and it's SIM unlocked.


For Samsung Galaxy S3~S7:

If your mobile phone model is Samsung Galaxy S3 to S7, the process is even simpler.

Note: If you want to SIM unlock your Samsung S3~S7 device, you are required to gain root access on your Samsung phone first. Here you can try Android Root from toolkit interface first.


After your phone is connected to dr.fone toolkit for Android, it will begin to unlock your SIM lock. You just need to wait a few minutes till the process completes.


Note: In this process, your phone will restart once. Please don't disconnect your phone until it's unlocked successfully.
