Yesterday at Snapdragon summit in Hawaii, The company announced the arrival of its latest next-gen mobile computing platform, Snapdragon 845. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 is direct successor of the last year's very popular snapdragon 835. The snapdragon 845 will be found on many flagship android phones in 2018 And it is also expected that snapdragon 845 will make its way to windows 10 laptops because the laptops Asus NovaGo and HP Envy x2 already powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835.

The Architecture is Based On Samsung's 10nm LPP FinFET

The Snapdragon 845 is build on Samsung's 10nm LPP FinFET. The New Snapdragon 845 offers Updated 630 GPU And Boasts a new Kryo 385 CPU Architecture (4x Cortex-A75 up to 2.8 GHz + 4x Cortex-A55 up to 1.8 GHz). The Company promised that the New Snapdragon 845 gives 10 percent higher performance or 15 percent lower power consumption compared to its first generation. The kryo 385 is built on Arm cortex technology. Qualcomm promise up to 25 higher performance compared to its last last generation snapdragon 835.

 

Adreno 630 Visual Processing unit

The Brand New Qualcomm Adreno™ 630 Visual Processing Subsystem (including GPU, VPU and DPU), featuring room-scale 6DoF with SLAM, Adreno Foveation, and a 30% improvement in graphics/video rendering compared to the previous generation.The Adreno 630 supports displays up to 2K x 2K in resolution at up to 120 Hz, for a crisp and fluid display. The Company promised thirty percent improvement to graphics and video rendering and less power consumption compered to Adreno 540. The Snapdragon 845 is also the first mobile platform to enable room-scale 6 degrees of freedom (6DoF) of movement, with simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM), which can enable features such as wall-collision detection.


New X20 LTE Modem

The new X20 LTE Modem Offers gigabites of LTE speed. The new X20 modem Gives 20% faster peak than the last X16 LTE modem.  Users can also experience similar lightning-fast speeds with 802.11ad multi-gigabit Wi-Fi and integrated 2x2 802.11ac.

The Qualcomm Spectra™ 280 ISP is designed to deliver a premium camera and XR experience, with high-performance capture of up to 16 MP at 60 images per second and Gives You HD premium capture with richer color. The Qualcomm's New Snapdragon comes with the all new Quick charging 4+ Technology Capable of Up to 50% Charging Within 15 Minutes So All your Application can run all day. The new Spectra 280 ISP introduces a number of new video capture options, including 480 fps slow motion 720p video, 60 fps video recording at up to 16 megapixels of resolution, and the ability to capture 64x more high-dynamic range  information than before.
