Galaxy S8/S8+ Hard Reset under 40 seconds



Phone Off* If the device menus are frozen or unresponsive, you can hard reset using hardware keys. To perform a reset, follow these steps:


Step by step guide hard reset

1. Ensure the device is powered off.
2. Press and hold the Volume Up + Bixby + Power buttons at the same time. Release all buttons when the Phone vibrates.
3. Device with emphasis on Volume up, Bixby and Power buttons
From the Android Recovery screen, select Wipe data/factory reset.
4. Select Yes.
5. Select Reboot system now.










Reset the password.
Note Once reset, the device won't accept the new password and can't be used for 24 hours. After 24 hours, a device restart must be performed to verify the waiting period has been met.
Perform a factory data reset using this process only if absolutely necessary as it removes all data including:
Contacts
GoogleTM account
System and app data
App settings
Downloaded apps
Media (Music, pictures and videos, etc.)
