How to hard reset Samsung Galaxy TAB 3.
This procedure is compatible for Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 (SM-T211, SM-T215, SM-T215), Galaxy Tab 3 Lite 7.0 (SM-T110), Galaxy Tab 3 Lite 7.0 3G (SM-T111) and Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 WiFi ( P3210, SM-T210).
If your tablet is screen locked and you forgot the Password, PIN, you can do a Hard reset.
If you have internet connection on your tablet and installed Google account on it, you can bypass the securiti with Android Device manager, and this will safe your personal data:

When you try to do a Factory reset through the Android system recovery menu, you can't navigate normally. This is common problem with Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0. The light cursor is moved only if you press the Volume button twice - then it will move through two menus.
Where is the problem?
When you press Up or Down once, it does actually change the selection, but the system doesn't refresh the screen.
Here's the solution:
Open the Android recovery menu (you can find the manual how to do this in the description). If your tablet is stuck on the Android robot with exclamation mark picture, press the Volume Up or Down button. Now you are in the Android recovery menu. If the cursor is on "reboot system now", press the Volume Down key twice to go to "apply update from external storage", and just once to go to "wipe data...". The cursor will stay on "apply update..." but the real selection will be "wipe data / factory reset". Press the Power On button to select it.
In the next menu you must choose "Yes - erase all user data". Use the same technique to choose it. And finally, "reboot system now".
Factory / Hard reset with hardware keys:
- Power off the tablet.
- Press and hold the Home button, the Volume Up button and the Power button. When you see the Samsung Galxy Tab 3 logo release only the Power button. Now you are in the Androyd recovery menu.
- Use the volume keys to scroll and the Power key to choose.
- Now select one by one:
- "Wipe data / factory reset"
- "Yes - erase all user data"
- "reboot system now"
