Good chance this will work for you as this is a little secret that many phone and computer repair shops do and they wont tell you!
Instructions to discharge excess power from your phone:
- Pull out your battery (if you cant pull battery then hold down volume down button and power button simultaneously until your phone logo appears)
- hold the power button down for 1 minute
- then put battery back in a power up your phone
- BAM-- Hows that?
