Always make backups before proceeding. In this video we are going to install The Resurrection Remix ROM v6.2.1 specifically for the LG V20 model h910.

If you have h910, h918, ls997, us996, vs995 then you can download the Resurrection Remix OS 6.2.1 Oreo 8.1.0 from here: https://goo.gl/1RrhMj
Scroll down the list until you find the latest version RR OS, check carefully the latest date and choose the correct model which corresponds with your LG V20.
Download Opengapps 64bit 8.1 Nano from here: https://opengapps.org
For Magisk download click on the attachment with file name: Magisk-v17.1-SoLdieR9312.zip Download the Magisk root tool v17.1 from here: https://goo.gl/u8vdcJ

The instructions on how to install the Resurrection Remix Rom are:
1. Flash TWRP Recovery (if you already have TWRP then skip this step)
2. Wipe Data/Factory reset.
3. Format System.
4. Flash the ROM.
5. Flash 8.1 64bit Nano Gapps.
6. Flash Magisk Root Tool v17.1 Soldier Edition.
Reboot and Get Resurrected!
If you restored a backup from TWRP and you get an password or pattern error even that you insert the correct password or pattern then go in TWRP again and into filemanager, into the directory data/system and remove the file locksettings.db
Delete or rename the follwing files inside /data/system (note that probably not all of them exist for you, simply delete those you can find):
password.key
pattern.key
locksettings.db-wal
locksettings.db-shm
locksettings.db
