Samsung Emergency Mode is a setting that enables the battery to last longer, by disabling several settings. This is smart in theory, but the setting is really buggy.
When enabling the setting, all icons and widgets are removed from the home screen, and default settings are reset. The is not undone when disabling Emergency Mode.
Nowhere is it mentioned, that enabling Emergency Mode will result in irreversible changes.
The feature is advertised as a way to make the battery last longer - but unfortunately I wasted all my battery restoring the homescreen and settings.
